</location>
Religion and Political Power: A Historical Analysis of Their Strategic Interactions examines the complex relationship between the sacred and power from Antiquity to 21st-century geopolitics. The work analyzes the deification of rulers, the Constantinian shift, state Christianity, the Reformation, theocracies, religious nationalism, the confessional vote, populism, and the instrumentalization of faith. Furthermore, it addresses post-truth, propaganda, confirmation bias, and the political use of symbols and beliefs. From a historical and critical perspective, it proposes tools for discernment to recognize mechanisms of influence and manipulation, strengthen freedom of conscience, and promote a relationship between faith and society based on ethics, truth, and individual responsibility.
